For those of you on Macs:

If you continually find yourself wanting to rip your hair out, because the CCP download servers timeout, even though your connection speeds are clocking at 18-20 MBps, remember that "curl" is your friend:

curl -C - -O http://server.com/directory/file.dmg

where "server," "directory" and "file.dmg" are the respective CCP values for whatever client update you're trying to retrieve.

If you're having trouble finding the CCP direct-download-link, Chrome give you the http link its "Downloads" page.

This may be a "yeah duh" moment for most of you, but in case anyone else had this issue and I didn't miss it in another post/thread, I hope this can help you.
