You are thinking to literal again. Just because that picture involved only 2 players you think that I am only speaking of evenly matched arena contests in my clearly stated Op? Open your mind, you may like what you find.

No, where did you get the idea that people would enjoy that? I said is that the gold medalist is superior in relation to the down person. I hope this is not getting too complicated for you.

What do you actually want? Are you missing "worthy opponents"? Is solo PVP too easy because everyone else is terribad at EVE?

To OP.

Despite far too much writing, your argument basically comes down to;

Solo PvP is dead because - "You can only kill things with worse stats than you, or flown by stupider pilots"

You do realise how stupid that statement is, right? If you put two people with the exact same skill level and skillpoints and the same ship fit the same way against each other there will be a 50/50 chance of either of them winning. Now those are crap odds in anyone's books. Why bother? You could just flip a coin for fun.

Of course stupider people lose, of course people with terrible fits or ships lose. When you PvP in any game you win when your smarter and more capable. It works that way on Eve in exactly the same way. If your getting blobbed it's because you are the stupid one. If your killing larger numbers with smaller ships then that's because you are smarter than their FC and all the pilots there. If your expecting that to change, then your expecting CCP to break their game. In NO circumstances should anyone be able to kill someone with more skill, more smarts and a better ship, unless they made a terrible terrible mistake (ie, they weren't using their skill, their smarts or that ship, properly).

I didn't see any point in reading the rest of the thread, because there is no argument here. Solo PvP is dead basically is what older players say when someone nerffed their favourite overpowered ship.

If you open your mind as much as you have, your brain will fall out.

You, as the victor, are only as great as the opponents that you have defeated. If you want to feel good about yourself after winning a marathon over a down person, then have a party with that. That is your measure. I find your view rather cowardly and pathetic in the grand scheme of things, and I am proud to not share in it.

Everyone and anyone knows what a good contest means. Have a nice day.

It isn't my view in any way, I haven't written about my opinions in any post. But I'm afraid this discussion was really too much for you to comprehend, and you try desperately to make up things so you can avoid what is actually said.

I already told in my first post that EVE is full of good contests. My last one is from yesterday, spent less than 5 minutes looking for it

http://shivafurnace.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=15879215

Epic story worth of songs and movies? Certainly not. Damn good, proper, prolonged frigate duel? Solo PVP against a "worthy opponent"

Hell yes.

Well for someone who has not expressed their views yet you certainly have allot to say Blink You also don't seem to have a firm grasp of what I am saying either, so I invite you to 1. go back and read it again (only more slowly this time) and 2. state your opinion and give me that essay you were planning.

P.S. your link appears to be broken. Hell yes? PP

Again, you're not actually answering to what I write, instead babble about whatever.

Direct killboard links have never worked on the new forums. R-click, open in new tab and you'll get their standard hacker warning page with a working link.

This is just a test http://goo.gl/JPfNE

Right back atcha buddy. Maybe if you actually "state your opinion" as you claim to not have done yet, I can better explain to you where you are going wrong.

Here you go:

Funnily enough I find non-agreed 1vs1s every time I fly out solo, and not against ratters or tards, but against pilots who are looking for the very same thing. Yes, I sometimes die to camps, that is the risk I accept when flying true solo. I'm not in it for the stats, I want my kicks. I could roll with my perfect OGB and scanner alts, but that's small gang and it's more fun with real humans.

Lowsec is full of solo, and this is a fact. FW plexes and Retribution lit lowsec in wonderful flames, there's more pew than you can eat and all kinds of small ships and crazy fits.

Solo PVP is not dead in any meaning of the meme.

So to be completely clear now (because you are back tracking and claiming two things) have you, or have you not, clearly stated your opinion in this thread yet? I gather that you are now saying that you have?

You need level reading and comprehension to 1. Whilst your at it, I would advise clear communication 1 at least as well.

I do not wish a reply from an obvious Roime alt, he can himself let me know whether or not A. he has stated his opinion here clearly or B. he has not. Because he appears to be now claiming both and back pedaling.

Before we can move ahead further I would like to have this clarified. You know, so we can all be more accurate Big smile

Wow, you really are a terrible terrible poster.

In the EULA, there is a section on not ever pretending to be someone you are not. Ie, for the purposes of scamming you can not create a character with a similar name to someone else and claim to be them. Claiming to be anyone other than who you are is against the EULA and actually a bannable offence.

Therefore, I can say in this post.

Roime and I, are not the same person. If this were false, I would be in breach of the EULA, and It would be a bannable offence. Therefore, it's pretty safe to say, I would not be saying that if it were not the case.

You are a terrible terrible poster, and you have just been OWNED.

People don't post on these forums with forum alts? LOL. Um.... that may be one of the worst posts in the history of bad posting. Congratulations!

Read the EULA. You can post with a forum alt all you like, but if any person every claims straight out that they are not the same person as their alt, they are in breach of the EULA. I told you it was true, and you didn't even bother to check it before you replied. It would have taken you five seconds.

This is why your a terrible poster. Because you don't care about the facts. You will post and push your opinion regardless of what the facts state. There is no point arguing with people like you. If you can't see the value of logic, no logical argument can convince you of anything. If you can't be convinced, you might as well not be posting in a debate of any kind.

"um no i'm not"

CCP steps in: "Ban *****! don't you break no EULA!"
