Overheating with geforce 610

Everything works fine, i can play Eve but i notice that once i open Eve my graphics card's temperature goes to maximum very quickly (within 15 seconds)

its a brand new card too

ive updated recently as well, not sure if its the new version.

any help would be most appreciated

windows 7 64bit
8gb ram
amd A-8 3800 APU 2.4ghz
