Reading James 315's blog is one of the highlights of my day. Clearly there are more efficient ways to acquire isk. This is sandbox gameplay at its finest, where YOU and YOUR actions can affect the whole shard. Look at how many threads we have had about the New Order in the last few months, hell CCP is probably gonna change the game and nerf bumping because of them, which would be a travesty.

I hope you're prepared for the next "balancing" changes then.

All because most players want to take the little shreds of content from developers in a sandbox game where they, the player is given the tools to generate their own content, and then just run it into the ground doing the same missions over and over and over or mining the same belts over and over and never seek to interact with or affect their system, corp, alliance, region, constellation, or server doesn't invalidate the New Orders playstyle.

No it doesn't. But CCP can make it nigh impossible, with the right ~game mechanics~ and a dose of ~NPCs~

Mine where the gankers aren't. Stay aligned to station or safespot. Keep an eye on local. Warp out it there's a spike on local or D-scan. Seriously people quit bitching all the time and actually play the game. How do you think miners in nullsec deal with it?

Originally I felt nothing but contempt for the cowards of EvE.

But this post is so, so sad, it is obviously a cry for help from a group at the edge of oblivion.

Feel sorry for these sad, sad little people.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Except that this isn't actually true at all.
There are lots of things to do against the New Order,
but people simply aren't smart enough to do them.

Please come up with things you can do against them that don't achieve the new orders ends.....
Since counter ganking them is achieving their aims.

I'm one of those players who mine (on other accounts) who believe there is nothing to do against them....
Of course, the New Order also can't do anything to me.
I can just ignore them, realign, dock up if they actually manage to be enough of a pain in my belts.
And if they gank me, I can make it cost them more to gank me than I loose quite easily.

So, DON'T pay their fees, because they can't hurt you unless you let them.
Just ignore them, don't cry about it, don't try and gank them, just let them play their little games, and play yours.
In the long run, the miners will win as long as they play their own game and don't let the New Order tell them what that game will be.

No. In the long run you people will go extinct,
because you are unable to adapt.

I'd be dumb to help any miner, especially for FREE,
considering they don't deserve help !

They only whine !
They don't even try !

You deserve what's happening to you.

You brought it to yourself !

With one of the New Order's aims being to liberate high-sec miners from their drudgery and bot-like existence, any action miners take to protect themselves is achieving "the new orders ends" by default. You're stepping up and playing the game. The New Order wins, even if it "loses."

Thankyou for proving my point by abusing me as if I am unable to adapt to anything, rather than listing the nebulous 'lots of things' you claimed would be practical that would work 'against' the new order. I personally am quite able to adapt, nor do I whine about gank attempts on me.

As for Yuri, basically, yes, you are right. hence why I say to just ignore them. I'm yet to get bumped by one of them, though I don't full time mine myself, so they may have just missed me. And even if one day I do, I can just basically ignore it, if I don't react other than continuing mining, they don't get a win.

Keep imagining that, if it makes you feel better.
It doesn't make it true at all, though.

No, you still don't understand.

The ultimate aim of the New Order is to convert all high-sec miners into pleasant, healthy, sociable at-the-keyboard persons. That would be the Ultimate Victory. But there are many smaller victories along the way. One of those would be to stop an unpleasant, unhealthy, antisocial AFK person from mining in high-sec. Even if just for a few hours. Ignore the bumper all you want - you're not getting your ore, which means the guy next to you (you know, the handsome chap with the permit) is making that little bit more ISK for his.

Don't you see? By its very nature the New Order always wins.

Ignoring them works. It's not much different from ignoring a child throwing a tantrum. They make a lot of annoying noises, but eventually it ends in their realisation that it isn't working.

Someone told me to pay them money mining in my Venture the other day. I ignored them, they moved into position to bump me.... so I went into orbit. They tried to bump me, missed, tried again, and again, and again, missing each time while I laughed a little harder than I should have, then eventually they just flew away and I wasn't bothered again.

to be fair, it's a venture, he'd have probably filled his cargo faster than they could have bumped him out of range anyway.
in fact, i'd wager most high sec asteroids pop before a bumper can bump you out of range.

That would only hold true if he was not already capable of adapting and was not paying attention to the game.

Ore Miners already pay attention to the game. The whole 'AFK Ore Miner' is a myth. So The New Order don't make an Ore Miner pay any more attention than they already do to the game, hence, no victory.
Now Ice Miners, ok, they get away with AFKing. But I'm not that crazy. I'll just sell my ore, and buy more ice at current prices.

Capabilities which are meaningless if they are not put to the test. Remiel Pollard successfully interacted with other human beings that day and EVE became a slightly better game for it.

The new order just like any other group of griefers are above all lazy. If your getting hassled by them, don't play their game by sitting in a belt trying to ignore them. Move some place else, hi sec is huge and despite there grandiose plans to convert all high-sec miners into pleasant, healthy, sociable at-the-keyboard persons they probably won't move far from the systems they like .

Also the belts are not the only place you can mine in a system. I doubt very much that there is a single probe launcher in the whole of the new order. As the saying goes 'out of sight out of mind'

Keeping miners 'ATK' is only one aspect of the future that the New Order foresees. In fact, it is really only a means to an end. That end being miners who are sociable and pleasant and who interact with other human beings.
