This one time? I saw a miner try to run away? And his entire home continent of Atlantis sank beneath the waves! True story.

I suspect the "business" isn't that thriving if you have that much time to post non-stop in GD. How much did you actually earn during all those months you post here about this "business"? Probably on par with the person who block incursion sites with alts (free trial accounts?) - 20 millions during couple of months.

P.S. I believe site blocker is lying about non-zero profits to avoid ban for pure non-commercial griefing. Because even stupid people understand the second someone will start to pay to un-block sites - it will be start of massive incursion site blocking campaign because it's completely risk-free (free trial accounts, free noobships, free noob clones) and any money for that is 100% risk free income.

And true miners know , if they really want your ship exploded, there isn't really much you can do other than don't undock.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

They want (expecially) more attention and ISK before the whole thing folds down due to *yawn so 2012" effect and scarce impact on the game.
Expecially since it's possible to defend against bumping, there are at least 2 ways to do so.

The "guru" created an ISK gathering scheme on Market Discussion where people send money "for the luls" (and to circumvent CCP bans, since an IPO gives a motivation and thus a clearance to bump). In 3 weeks I have checked some prominent (and considered "conquered") systems I have met them once.

To me it looks like a smart, roleplaying money making scheme. More emergent and effective at grabbing ISK and attention than anything else though.

I stopped reading at the name of the poster, just came in to view the troll posts that ensue.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

...I live in wormholes and I'm completely (mostly) uninformed of what goes on in hi-sec these days. How much does one of these permits go for out of curiosity? Not that I go mining, I'm just pondering whether I too could go around extorting idiots in hulks for profit. If nothing else it would beat the hell out of PI for entertainment value.

Well, if they get smart Highsec Miners can always move to wormholes, plenty of gravs, no ganks, T3 fleet on standby just HOPING someone tries to scan you down so they can ambush them.

why isnt null like this? last time i was out there and saw a miner in a belt, he POS'd up and never left, neither did a fleet arrive even after half an hour fo me sitting outside aforementioned POS.

k-space makes me sad, you have Local and your STILL scared to take on a maller in a 1v1.

You know what happened today? Boat got a supercap kill by baiting it.

One guess what ultra-important module was used.

Yep, from what I can tell, there are only 21 registered users on the Minerbumping forums, and there haven't been any comments on the blog for several hours, so they came to GD for reactions.

Great job, capsuleers, you gave them what they wanted.

Reading James 315's blog is one of the highlights of my day. Clearly there are more efficient ways to acquire isk. This is sandbox gameplay at its finest, where YOU and YOUR actions can affect the whole shard. Look at how many threads we have had about the New Order in the last few months, hell CCP is probably gonna change the game and nerf bumping because of them, which would be a travesty.

All because most players want to take the little shreds of content from developers in a sandbox game where they, the player is given the tools to generate their own content, and then just run it into the ground doing the same missions over and over and over or mining the same belts over and over and never seek to interact with or affect their system, corp, alliance, region, constellation, or server doesn't invalidate the New Orders playstyle.

Last thing that keep me from mining is fact that im able to earn 150-200% included (LP) more isk per hour on lv4 while using two tengu or like tengu + dominix, than while siting one hour on betls while using orca + hulk even worse orca + one mack in ICE field.

These days minerals and ship prices - production are very good source to earn money but still far away if i compare it to combat pve game style while using well skiled toons, mining is efficient only on multiple box while using like minium 3-4 toons.

Im not afraid of kamikaze , bumpers etc, i play more than 6 yeas and i spent a lot time on belts during my career in EvE, EvE is big space and is easy to avoid ganks even these days, i dont mining only becaus low profit if i compare mining efficienty isk progres to mission runing.

EvE isn't game, its style of living.

Personally I like option 4. Fit a full blown tank and watch New Order terribles lose ships left and right and scoop their loot. Pirate Also the New Order tears in local are divine.

Looks like a New Order stealth whine thread for not selling enough mining permits.
