There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do...

As several well-informed miners have astutely asserted, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do to defend yourselves against the attacks of the New Order. (The caps emphasize the certainty.) The very mechanics of the game are constructed in a way that puts you at a disadvantage and prevents you from having any hope of fighting back or preventing a gank. If you're in highsec and the New Order wants you dead, you're dead, end of story. It is time for highsec miners to start accepting these facts and acting accordingly, buy a permit, it is LITERALLY THE ONLY OPTION YOU HAVE, other than stop mining in highsec, or of course martyr you mining ship.

People will say "Vote with your wallet" and "CCP only understands subscription numbers" so go right ahead, unsub, see how that works out for you. I'm sure you will be dearly missed and it will kill EVE. Oh wait, numbers say stuff like the New Order actually boosts subscriptions... Oh shucks, and the subscriptions gained turn out to be people who actually love EVE for what it is, which makes for loyal customers... Oh well, so much for your ~unsub~ PVP technique. Guess you took the quitter's way out and didn't even see any results. To me, it seems a lot easier to just buy a permit, but whatever...

In conclusion, 3 options. Buy a permit (Recommended), don't mine in highsec (either do something else or unsub), or die horribly. No other options, no hope.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

I don't get it, was there another "rebellion" ?

Triggered by: Wars of Sovless Agression, Bending the Knee, Twisting the Knife, Eating Sov Wheaties, Bombless Bombers, Fizzlesov, Interceptor Fleets, Running Away, GhostTime Vuln, Renters, Bombs, Bubbles ?

To date, there has been no real rebellion to speak of.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

So if I'm reading between the lines correctly (or incorrectly, it's all the same) then the "New Order" is worried about catching grief from CCP over sub losses due to the "New Order" harassment emergent gameplay of miners, so the OP is trying to dissuade miners from feeling "dis-emergent" enough to unsub?

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

*checks last several pages of GD and scratches head* you do protest too much?

Not seeing anyone complaining about New Order. No one mention miner ganking this whole day?

All real miners know that you will be ganked every now and again. It's part of the job. You factor that in that you might lose a ship everynow and again....*gasp! just like PVP players do!* Do you go max tank or max yield? It's a roll of the dice. I prefer max yield, with Orca support. The chances of me being ganked are so minimal that max yield wins everytime.

But.....if you get that itch, lots of unknowns in local, some such, I switch to tank. You play the odds as best you can.

And true miners know , if they really want your ship exploded, there isn't really much you can do other than don't undock.

(last 2 hulkageaddons I mined HI-SEC in a hulk, full on, no loses, mining permits are for chumps, and don't mean crap in the end if the ganker "Really wants your ship Exploded" Pirate )

EDIT : TL:DR : OP sounds like the Tin Foil Hat guy shouting " THEY BE COMMIN FOR YA!!! BUY MY HAT! IT"S THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THEM THERE COMMIE ALIEN MIND-BUTT PROBERS FROM GETTIN TO YA"

IIRC the Skiff is the only exhumer you can realistically fit prop on, and many miners refuse to change their ship or click an extra button because SANDBOX MEANS YOU CAN'T MAKE ME CHANGE MY PLAYSTYLE THIS IS EXTORTION.

Besides that, orbiting isn't very helpful against a dozen Catalysts.

Looked at OPs company name and instantly realized that nothing I would read to the right of it would be nothing other than pure, grade-A unfiltered bullshit from a sad little person with delusions of grandeur.

OP is actually complaining about the lack of attention the New Order has been getting recently due to the fact that no one cares what some people to scared to actually gank miners do.

I do not speak for the entirety of the New Order. In general, I try to encourage people to try EVE and dissuade them from leaving. The only people I would encourage to unsub are people who don't really like EVE anyway.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

I heard attempting to gank them in faction/officer fit faction BS and letting them loot the wreck afterwards makes them go away. Try it sometime.
