AIUI what supposedly happened was :

1) OP sells character, character transfer started, character in stasis/locked;

2) Later that day OP buys some PLEX from Amazon;

3) OP logs into account and clicks redeem PLEX.

Now the way that usually works is that the PLEX are redeemed to the character you last logged into, unless you specify otherwise.

The question is "Does that still happen when the character is locked/in stasis?"

If it does then its a bug.

Backing yourself up with an alt and forgetting....

Epic fail! This thread is now really entertaining what with all of your alts.

I operate 18 accounts for resale and other purposes but I always log out first. Besides 6 plex do not cost that much to some of us and I would consider it lose change but you really shouldn't be such a ***** about it.

Scamming isnt allowed on character sales.

For example I say im for sale 5 bil, someone sends me 5 bil and I **** off with the cash, thats character scamming :P

This doesn't really fall under that category.

Like I said If I hadn't received a torrent of abuse from the Seller I would have happily sent them all back. But now I will see where this goes with CCP

If they do decide to refund it wont be out of my pocket, due to the fact what happened has nothing to do on my part. I receive the character with 6 PLEX, not my fault but i'm not going to turn them down as its not in the rules to give them back, in fact the rules say everything on the character is transfered to the new owner.

Like I said and like someone else said above me , if it really is a BUG then it would have been picked up a long time ago and should reported in the correct manner not posted on the forums.

This is really getting tedious now and I just want to leave this case alone. I'm not a bad person but im not a rich one either, if someone leaves item on a character I purchase freely and within the rules I see it as a bonus. In no way am I a thief Nor does anyone apart from CCP know if the seller is telling the truth.

In no way was he / she forced to put PLEXE's on this character by anyone, it was done intentionally or by mistake, either of which it doesn't matter... its the same outcome and doesn't break any rules on my part.

So please, lets lock this stupid stupid thread and let CCP decide in due time.

Actually what I said had nothing to do with you or the OP per say.
I was actually surprised that the plex was transfer;d to a character tagged to sale.
Those characters should be completely locked down to protect the buyer and the seller so that both parties don't have to deal with this.

And I believe it will come down to when CCP decides the contract was binding.
Any changes afterwords effectively null in voids the entire thing and sends it back to square one.

Didn't see any sign of them being abusive though.

I'm not breaking the forum / privacy rules and risk getting banned from them though , So Believe what you want, your opinion does not matter to me in the slightest because you have no involvement in the case

And I think (So do many in game ISD's and players) that I am within my rights to do what im doing. I would be surprised if this went in the sellers favor but if it does then thats for CCP to decide, not some big mouthed child like your self :)
