Because I am a fanboi. I like Kane. I'm almost sad you didn't accuse me of being an alt. I do appreciate you looking up my history though. Makes me feel all warm inside! Maybe we should grab Holeysheet and talk about our feelings and stuff.

And I also posted in this particular thread because we are Mercs, and I was intrigued by your request. But yes, as Kane pointed out, this section of the forum is full of Mercs 4 Hire threads and there is the Merc Contracts channel in-game. Good luck with your quest.



Against my better judgement, I think I like the Merc attitude. Not that I would ever have the time or skill, mind you. I am drawn to the ISK like a moth to flame. I am guessing I have made more in the last week than most of you in the last few months, but I am sure I am wrong in select cases.

If we MUST digress from my query, what I really want to know is why the markets are not arbitraged out better. I would spend time learning to blow **** up, but I just can't stop taking the free money. It's like a drug.

So, to make it more concise for all you Einsteins. why aren't the Merc's, nullsecers and w-space masters bringing more product to market? I find very little competition in many of the high margin markets. Is it ignorance or apathy?

And don't say there isn't product to bring. My spreadsheets see it all.

Kane, you have so many admirers, you are my new hero. No joke. I am sorry if I offended. It doesn't hurt that I don't understand much of what you say, as it makes it all the more mysterious.

I do have a fair amount of ISK to burn, as I don't buy much equipment. I don't really get out much, and I try to carry as much inventory as possible, but I am happy to buy some of your blue list, whatever that is. Does it inflation adjust, like tier ii rigs? Everything else does. Well, except PLEX.

I would like to see w-space one day. I guess it can wait until I buy it.

Call it Stockholm Syndrome, but, at this point, if there is anything I can do for you, just let me know. Happy to oblige. Don't buy anything without checking with me. Seriously.

I think every single one of these "seeking merc help for ____" thread are ridiculous.


If you bothered to do 5 minutes of research, you could find a reputable mercenary group to hire, and get in contact with them privately.



Instead you leave the collective community shaking their heads at you, and open yourself up to every scammer and troll out there.


Combine this with the usual air of entitlement reeking from the 'wronged' and it makes for some good entertainment. But I'm not sure that's what you were trying to do.


One last thing...what kind of reputable mercenaries do you expect to contact you in this manner? The credible organisations all have a PR front that makes it easy to get in contact with them. I'd imagine they have little to no need to read terrible forum topics for jobs. The customers they wish to attract are smart enough to get in contact with them.

Funny enough, I just looked at my original post. It is sad that threads get hijacked by lurkers. I have 100mm ISK for some information. I am sorry that there are so many whiners. This thread ends here.

I am not a defender of Cannibal Kane, but he does have a point in mentioning the wide variety of mercenary corps that have regularly bumped threads on this forum looking for work. If you scan through you will find every color of the pvp rainbow available for hire - from professional organizations to sociopathic pvp griefers who enjoy erotic role play in local.

i just want you to know... if you would just post the name, I would waste some sec just for the whimsy -for sure- if it's battlecruiser and below, or any high sec industrial besides orca and freighter.
