Hello. I;ve not played eve for a while, downloaded client and baught time but the patcher will not update. I use vista.

I tried repair tool and so on.

The version from what i can tell says: Eve online launcher v.1.32

The file Common.ini in the installation folder should have build=?????? on the third line. What number does it have?

It says

That's the current build so it shouldn't need to update. Can you post a screenshot of the launcher?

And can you make sure the firewall is not blocking the connection? To quickly test it, completly turn off the firewall, start launcher. If you do get connection that way, turn firewall back on add configure the firewall to allow eve.

When i start the game the patcher runs to 2/4 at 50%. then it fails and offers to start again with higher privliges. the nthat fails and tells me to try restarting before trying again (ofc tried that).

I use windows defender.
