Except the 'High Ends' are actually lower value than some of the Low Sec stuff now.
This could actually just be an update to the Rorq, who needs a new ship. Given they need to fix it when they kill OGB.

still 4 ores more lucrative than any high sec ore, and last i checked they all spawned in null grav sites.
5 ores if we include mercoxit, but i can't be sure that's more isk/hour than a high sec ore because of maths and laziness.

Might want to check again.

At todays prices, the only nullsec ores that are hands down better are Ark and Merc. Bistot and crok are on par with pyroxeres and scordite.

You will not get rich spending hours flying around and probing down nullsec grav sites to cherry pick the 2 better ores. Especially if you compare it to cleaning out one highsec belt after another of the pyro and scord.

but are you an industrialist in nullsec?

I was once. And I mined a lot of minerals just with the exhumer alone. And I have been following up on the changes to mining ships and null-sec this whole time so I understand what is going on. Just because I no longer dwell in null-sec doesn't mean I don't keep tabs on what's happening there.

Anyways, if a solo miner in null-sec could make a lot of ISK with just an exhumer alone with modulated strip miners, I can imagine the value of veldspar and other minerals dropping real fast if you introduce capital mining lasers. The need for exhumers would drop real quick just like the value of minerals.

Supply and Demand. That is all.

So the advent of such a ship would have to come with the addition of new features or ships that would "eat" all that raw material.

Hive ships for example. Artificial planets maybe. A player-owned Dysons Sphere? (ohh the epic of that).
