FW: Which side is Ammatar Mandate on?

I've moved to Derelik, which is Ammatar Mandate controlled, and i would like to try faction warfare on the side of Amarr, does that mean i can't enter high sec in that area?

Could there be any other nasty surprises?, would it be better just to move to Amarr space before joining?

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Ammatar standings are linked to amarr, so raising minmatar standings will tank your ammatar standing.

If you join as amarr you'll be fine.

Keep in mind that Ammatar Mandate is technically neutral in the war so FW from all sides can enter it and not be attacked by navies. I tested this while in Minmatar Militia and faction navy did not show up until I hit true Amarr space.

Edit: Ammatar Navy missions give standing towards Amarr, so you can do missions in the mandate and boost rating toward Amarr.
