Is it possible to stop lasers from flashing so much?

Easy solution: use quad- and dual beam lasers.
They are crappy weapons without any real purpose in this game, but are by far the best looking weapons in EVE.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.
