Not sure if this is a new with expansion or expansion reset my settings but ever since new expansion hit i see these graphical little floating debris (looks like armor plates from blown up ships or something). Anyways this cause the wh combat sites to be really laggy does anyone know if theres an option to turn it off?

there has always been little bits of crap floating around, something about immersion. zoom out a little farther and they should clear up, sites may still be a bit laggy but just like dust clouds the problem can be mitigated by zooming out farther.

which really is a shame as everything else can render nicely its just some of the crap they try to put is is so heavy for so little effect. i think theres been "can i turn dust clouds / other graphical effects off" threads since eve started but the art department has enough blackmail material that its all or nothing.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

YEah, i think the parts you're on about are new. Small spinning textured bits. Im not too fond of them. Turn off shadows if you want to be free of the lag. Works for me...
