Supercapitals on the test servers

I did some googling, and looking through the pages here and did not see anyone else make mention of this. On two occasions I have seen a supercapital on the test server, one an avatar during a mass test and the other a nyx during non-test. If I understand correctly (I'm terrible at this game mind you so I could be wrong) but, to build a super cap in addition to the appropriate skill requirements you must have a pos with an sma and a CSAA. CSAA's require you to hold a sov in a system for awhile.

Since you cannot buy a super in station since they cannot dock presumably these individuals are building them. I saw in another topic CCP had set up an alliance with full sov and were accepting applications. Is it the case that these supers were from individuals in that alliance who had gone to the pain staking process of getting into the allinace, setting up the pos, setting up the SMA, setting up the CSAA, then waiting the 20 days for a supercarrier or even more ungodly amount of time for a titan and hoped that the server did not mirror and lose all their stuff?

This would certainly account for why I've only seen two (even then I'm surprised I've seen that many) but I was curious if this is the process one would have to go through in order to use a super on the test server.

Devs used to accelerate the construction of supercaps, but they stopt doing that about a year ago, don't know exacly why.

Or they were already in / had access to one when the server was mirrored

Didnt think of them already having them. Are you required to have config starbase equipment role to anchor like live and does the sov level effect whether or not you can anchor a csaa like live?

Also: I posted on my main instead of my jita alt! Oh no!

Its exactly the same as TQ.

Because of Cap Blobbing:

Put Job in -> Get it accelerated Titan Done
Put Job in -> Get it accelerated Titan Done

Do this while a (Nice) Dev's online and thats 10+ Titans done in less than an hour.

No they stopped doing it because it was too much effort, They should of just done it once every two weeks

And were removed for good reasons.

You can still screenshot the progress of your super capital builds, and if the test server is mirrored, they will resume the build for you, at the progress it was at. However, I do believe you will have to set the pos back up. That is very little effort though. Especially considering you dont need any defences, and you can just buy everything, including fuel blocks, off the market, throw it all in a freighter, and voila.

This is completely inaccurate

Every asset you have on TQ when it is mirrored will be there on SiSi.

All corp and alliances are also mirrored, however all POSes, system levels and control are wiped.

You can claim systems, anchor ihubs, perform upgrades just as if you were on TQ, with only a few minor differences. No non-consensual combat outside of designated systems. You can only claim sov in unclaimed systems.

So if you had a Super on TQ when the mirror was done you will have it on SiSi.

If you have the ability thru corp/alliance on TQ to claim sov when the mirror was done you can claim sov on SiSi.

If you hold sov on SiSi you can grind it up, or some times you can get a friendly dev on SiSi to bump sov for you.

If you have Sov at the right levels you can add system upgrades, and anchore a POS with the right equipment to build supers on SiSi. But it takes the same time investment as on TQ.

If you want to test super capitals on SiSi before getting into one on TQ your options are a little limited. You can build one yourself as mentioned above. But they are not seeded to buy.

If you want to build a super on SiSi but do not have the ability to claim sov, or the isk to set up your own alliance some times there is a test alliance set up by a dev you can join with your corp. But you will still have to do all the work yourself.
