Hello guys
Im trying to get my first simple reaction but I can't get it work

I'm using a medium POS with 2 harv, 1 simple reactor and 1 silo

Harv 1 (Raw A) + Harv 2 (Raw B) ---> Simple Reactor (Raw A/B Reaction) ---> Silo

Does I am doing something wrong with this ? I'm asking because when I apply or online the modules my link are **** up X

Maybe this guide can help you out: http://www.eve-guides.com/poss/simplereaction.php

According to the guide you first need to online the silos, then link them.

Offline the first moon harvester, set the type, apply and online it doesn't work?

You have to manage harvesters and silos when they are offline. So what you need to do is offline the whole system and go to the manage window of your POS, under processes.

Set the types of the harvesters and drag the output of the harvesters to the inputs of the reactor (after setting the type on the reactor), then drag the output to the silo from the reactor. at this point you can online the whole system and it should work fine.

Thanks man but I set up my POS without any problems but for the simple reactions something is broken or I don't know

that's super strange...I would send a ticket to CCP about it.

But on the off chance it matters, on the second screenshot what is the red text on the scandium harvester

I just tried on buckingham and can't reproduce it any way. Try unanchoring AND SCOOPING it, and launch again. Other options include clear cache and/or repair.

Sorry I can't be be off help :(

Took me several tries to get it right my first time. I practiced a lot on singularity before trying on tranquility. I always put a coupling array between the moon harvester and the reactor as without it I some times get bugged.

For example in the moon harvesters cycle before the reactor there is nowhere for the material to go and it is lost, the reactor then loses a full cycle until the moon harvesters cycle again.

Since all the arrays on the POS cycle at the same time(when the POS ticks for fuel) regardless of when they where onlined, they sometimes cycle in the wrong order.

Not a big deal but can cost you the occasional cycle of the reactor. using coupling arrays just seems to keep everything running smoothly. If the harvesters cycle first it just sits in the coupling array until the reactor cycles, if the reactor cycles first it just waits a few seconds for the harvesters to cycle and send it material. if there was a guarantee the reactor would always cycle first then feeding it directly as you have done would work fine. But in my experience it can get very buggy that way.

I dont care loosing one cycle thats why I dont use coupling array plus I can't put them on my current POS (not enough CPU)

Still no reply from CCP ....

Re-anchoring won't do anything. You have to re-package and re-anchor.
