Ok, so implants aren't a module... but I don't see any subforum for discussing them

Basically, the Genolution set should either have an attribute boost of 4.5 points when you have the set, or they should modify the description to be consistent with the other implants.

Case 1:
-Crystal Alpha-
Primary Effect: +3 bonus to Perception
Secondary Effect: 1% bonus to shield boost amount
Set Effect: 15% bonus to the strength of all Crystal implant secondary effects.

Case 2:
-Genolution CA-1
Traits:
Boosts perception by 3
Provides +1.5% powergrid bonus
Provides +1.5% capacitor amount bonus
Implant set bonus: 50%

If one reads the description of the CA-1 or CA-2, which do not split effects into primary and secondary, one should conclude from the description that with the full set, the perception boost will be 3 *1.5 = 4.5

So... either change the description (meh), or have a CA-1 and CA-2 together boost perception and intelligence each by 4.5

Ya! Those implants suck because of those bad stats.
Even newbs use +4 implants nowadays, +3 is a bad idea.

Whatever.

I wouldnt mind of they got a 4.5 attribute bonus....got a bunch i can then sell for what, 150/200 mil instead of 40/50?

But srsly, you're whining about a small lapse in description while you know full well what the bonus means?

I know now, but the description is misleading.

Misleading descriptions should be changed, no?

Either make the bonus consistent with the description, or make the description consistent with the bonus

These are the single most helpful implants I've ever used. Getting big boost to grid, CPU, cap, AND cap regen. It's like having 3% implants in without taking up the extra slots

I'll take 2 carebears to go, with extra tears

fitting 2 genos implants is like having a PG, CPU, cap and learning implant in 2 slots rather than 4 and you still whine about them? i mean really...
people really will b*tch about ANYTHING these days.

These are some of the best implants CCP ever put out. The variety of bonus they give allows new fits on most ships that were impossible before. Can't believe somebody would complain about them.

The only bad thing about Genos is that all my fits are now unflyable without them :D

+3s or +4s, whotf cares if they make fitting plates and hybrids with MWD actually possible.

He just wants consistency with the bonus and description. He's not saying they're lame implants or complaining about them. There are a lot of descriptions that CCP should change for consistency and to make them understandable.

File a bug report. Your issue is more likely to get addressed and people won't flame you.
