I would like to confirm problem reported in thread https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2366001#post2366001

Exactly same situation happened yoesterday to me.
Price agreed was 425000000.
ISK amount was put into trade window and locked.
Item was put.
I checked price, checked that buyer locked ISKs hit accept.

NO ISK VALUE CHANGE HAPPENED until I clicked Accept.
I checked this very carefully to avoid extremally high ISK loss (compared to my wallet).

In my wallet was accounted 425000.

Problem reported, under investigation.

In my opiniont buyer was using 3rd party tools to change behavior of client code responsible for station trade.
He opened trade window, so probably his clinet sent to server "trade request" based on illegaly modified data.
What was shown in my window was ignored.

Cheers,

Wrong, this is not an issue at all. This is a very common scam with station trades (who even uses Station Trades? Use contracts).
Its easily done in the following matter (That I've tried before while testing to see if it was a bug or not):

Stuff goes in
Put ISK In (Correct Amount)
Go to change the amount of ISK with the lower value but don't accept
The exact same time you see the green tick appear hit Accept
If fast enough it'll update the value without asking you to re-accept.
He accepts
It's been like this forever really.

If your not fast enough (95% of the time they aren't) it'll make you try and re-accept but because its only a few 0's the amount of times people don't bother to check and assume its the same and they made a mistake is suprising.

I don't use trade window that often, but this part sounds fishy to me:

Quote:

That's the green tick that the other person accepted? If you're fast enough this means that the other player will not have to accept again? That would be wrong and could be exploited easily.

Gargarin, you say the isk was locked, as in he accepted trade, you put the item in, he accepted trade again, you checked the isk price in detail, no 0's were removed, and hit accept?

Yes, exactly.

Buyer put ISK, accepted,
I put item, waited for his accept.
After he accepted I checked price, it was unchanged and after ensuring that everything is OK I accepted.
