"Rare ship" for upgrading Trial

I read that it's currently possible to get 'rare ship' for a buddy upgrading to a paying account. Does anybody know what this ship is? I'd assume something useless and purely for collectable value...but I can't seem to find any detail about what it is.

Going by the ads on the login screen you can get apotheosis and Zephyr one's for updating to full subscription, the other came with the 12 plex offer (I'm not sure which one is for what).

I disagree with them being labelled as collector items, as collector items implies value or usefulness

No it doesn't. "Collector items" are usually worthless things with high value placed on them.

Null-Sec needs to HTFU and stop crying to CCP. If null-sec wants PvP, they need to stop being carebears and start fighting eachother - after years of bot-mining, they have the ships!

I disagree with your definition of collector item, as collector items imply to be limited and not to be re-released on any other occasion.
