I know this is a ridiculous topic to post on, but to be honest, I'm so frequently linking articles and podcasts and gifs for lulz in eve I find this happens to me all too frequently.

Step 1: Copy URL or text out of game client.
Step 2: Paste into eve chat window.
Step 3: Copy a different piece of text or URL from out of game or even in game client using the normal shortcut.
Step 4: 40% of the time paste the previously copied thing into the box instead of what you just copied.
Step 5: Re-copy the thing again and again from step 3 to make sure you didn't mess up the modifier key + letter combination
Step 6: Rage


Only solution I've found is to Right click in game on text and select "Copy" then past into the chat box. This will somehow 'reset' the clipboard, you are then free to copy out of game client again and paste into the box until it breaks and you repeat the process.

If I am solely alone on this let me know, but it drives me absolutely bonkers.
