The way I see it:

Mineral and ore prices would increase to levels where players who don't normally mine would find it profitable to do so.

Prices would then level off at a higher level. At least for a while as new people started mining. Then decrease depending on how many people took up mining.

This would, IMHO, be true for all aspects of industry.

In the end, the only thing that would change, is that there would be less people whining on the forums.

I for one welcome our new Mining and Industry Overlords.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

-The costs of T1 ships would slowly approximate T2 ships, since there will be a relative over-abundance of moon-goo and PI stuff for T2 construction.

-Lasers with T1 crystals will become the weapon of choice because they don't deplete.

-Absolutions and Zealots will become the most common ships in eve.

-PvP would become rare because of the prohibitive costs, most players would use their ships to run missions and reprocess loot.

-Players would move into Amarr regions to have rats that fit better the damage profile of their lasers.

- Jita would slowly die and Amarr would become the biggest trade hub in eve.

- Nullsec players would move back into highsec for better refinery rates in npc station to reprocess mission loot.

Miners on Strike!

New Eden was in shock today as miners deactivate their lasers and blockade undocking zones of critical mineral stockpile hubs covering 98% of trade in the top 50 stations. This comes in conjunction with a refiners general stroke across the cluster, leaving unionised work crews across New Eden downing tools in solidarity.

More news as it rolls off, back to the studio.
