getting that error restarted client restarted computer. no idea

same here, i get "The specified proxy or server node (863576) is dead" for all chat channels that would normally show, although i still get local chat. restart and cache clearing haven't helped.

yea me either i can talk to others if i private convo like 2-3 times but after every line i submit i get that error

Same here

All three toons get the proxy error message and only get Local - No Corp, Fleet or Convo work

Seems this is a pretty common problem right now. All above posts also apply for me.

all 3 of my toons have same problem.

no corp, alliance, any other chats work anymore..

only Local works..

soon as i click on chat channels more error boxes open..

Same issue as everyone above me, can't seem to get connected to any chat but 'local' and even that seems iffy at times.

ditto, the proxy error message preemptively seizes all window attention making it impossible to do anything else until the messages are dismissed. being at present in null sec, this represents a significant risk to flying. just saying

Having same issue but I logged in right after patch/DT this morning and didn't have this issue. CCP needs to get off their *** and fix this. This is really annoying.

Possible fix for this issue..

I restarted my router and all four of my clients on two different PC's have their channels back, however you have to manually join those channels again. :)
