I saw him live in Cologne...best concert ever...

Very pleased to hear he's still creative, but his voice is showing signs of wear. The slower groove suits well.

soundgarden put a new record out late last year. first in 12 years. but i didn't see a thread about them. Sad

but a fossil like bowie puts out and new one and it's all "YAAAAY!"

I was glad about the Soundgarden album but heard nothing from it.

I guess that's a search-fail on my part in this day and age.

edit: but new Bowie got Tweeted by soooooo many people: Branson, Ebert, the list goes on.......

Just on a side note, my 'best ever' concert was the Talking Heads in 1983. Thank God Jonathan Demme filmed it so it can be re-lived in perpetuity.
