Minerbumping.com is funny and yes, I'm a miner (for now)

I just read through some of the areas (Main page, The Code, bingo, and About ) on www.minerbumping.com and I have to say that James315 is a funny man.

I'm doing mining right now while I train some skills to fly the vexor I bought. To be honest I find it kind of relaxing. Throw on some EVE Radio and chat in a few channels in game. Plenty to keep me occupied for a while.

I mine or mission for 90% of my income.I have read his site. I find it funny.
I think he should continue to do it.
If your so afk that your bumped out of range then you should gtfo anyway.

Granted, when I mine, im watching tele, on my pc, but I am not afk and I am actively playing, market stuff, planning, 2 covs and an orca, corp chat.

People who simply sit in a mack, set to mine, and go afk for 30+ minutes deserve to be pooped on in more ways than one, and bots should go home.

It's funny, but the fact you can move objects 100 times your mass by bumping it with a frigate would make my physics teacher cry.

If you want to bump a miner it should be done with a battleship because its more realistic and it shows you mean business.

Funny how a bullet weighing 8 grams moving at 700m/s can also move a lot of things. Perhaps your physics teacher is already crying.

Reading through his FAQs is very funny. He's either a comedian or a megalomaniac and I cant figure out which.

All that stuff about a miner having to say "thank you" after being ganked... priceless.

When your physics teacher can put together a realistic simulation of collision mechanics in a vacuum liquid, taking into account, speed, inertia, kinetic energy, fluid dynamics and mass, they can criticise.

As someone pointed out above, an 8 gram bullet moving at 700m/s can knock an 80kg human flat on their arse (an object 10,000 times its mass), frigates and cruisers (the more common choice for bumping) moving at 1000-2500m/s should be able to do the same to larger vessels.

Seems fairly realistic to me, the unrealistic thing is the collision bounding boxes, fix those and I'd be a happy bunny. To me it would mean no more getting hooked up on a roid while warping out in a barge, yes I'm actually a miner P, that alone would provide a benefit to everyone in Eve, gankers, bumpers, pirates, mission runners, & miners alike.

i am no miner, read some of it and didn't find it funny. The only aspect i find good about the action is that it shows some of eves remaining problems, like physics npc corps.. you name it.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
