Seeing the thread entitled 'Your greatest moments in Eve' makes wants me to ask something.

Could the EVE community help with a new descriptive word ( e..g Nerf, Gank, Buff) that describes this or a similar visceral Eve moment.....

1 Log on PC at work, volume off , window screen, sneakily rat in favourite 360mill ship whilst reviewing e-mails and daily tasks.
2 Get interrupted by phone call or co-worker - hurridly select warp to SAFE - minimise screen.
3. Re-open screen after longer than expected interruption
4. Stare UNCOMPREHENDINGLY at small pod & rather contented looking frigate sized BELT rats ...
5. Exhale and collapse rubber face into left hand.
6. Use * new word* in general rant to confused co-workers....

Any suggestions ...?

So you did a warp to safe, but did not make sure you actually warped off. Sounds like you should quit playing EVE at work to me.

It's commonly known as one of the 'can I have your stuff' moments.

One Tank of Honor Attention says you're one of those that believes university bandwidth is for whatever students want to use it for (gaming, pirating music, etc) and not schoolwork... Pirate

On the original topic:
1) Warp to safe
2) Logout

Problem solved. Nothing is so critical that it can't wait 30 seconds.

That would be a negative there ghost rider. I don't go to a university, I haven't since the 1990's, and I'm retired, so I can use my bandwidth for whatever I want.

Along the lines of "Awoxing" being named after a player responsible for making it famous, we could call it getting "Zenned"

Can we see the Zenmail?? Twisted

I'd fire you immediately... Well unless you sent me some ISK so I can buy an Armageddon for when I'm playing in my office... The bosses have SOME perks you know...

I think the new word should be "Downsized"....

You - "Crap, got downsized again today at work"

HIm - "You lost your job, that's terrible?"

You - "No I got ganked you nub, you don't know anything"

You went to Uni in the 90s and you're already retired?! Shocked

Dammit, I need a new job.
