There is absolutely no category for filing a Petition concerning War Decs. I cannot War Dec a particular Corp, and that is very weird .............as if they do not exist.

And I cannot file one based on the available categories.............Evil

As it involves gameplay and corporations and alliance, I would put it under Gameplay, sub category Corporations and Alliances.

Possibly so, but that is still a rather vague designation tbh.

Link the name of your target so other people can attempt to replicate the problem?

This is an extremely old problem. After the next downtime you should be able to declare war on them.

I sure hope so. So far it is impossible. An error message is generated. CCP investigating, and are interested so unfortunately cannot say anything more.

I think it's safe to say it's a Corp I have long suspected of botting and it has CZ in it's name so it is Eastern European based.

Sorry Easter Europeans for the generalization, but we all know what this means.

Does it say something about them leaving or joining an alliance? That was the error message I used to get.

Nope. Been the same static 6 Hulks mining same system for over a year. Corp info in Eve Who says has 11 members though.

Error Message says Corp does not exist.

CCP needs to step up their bot detection tech, as this proves it is getting WAY out of hand in ways I don't think they even suspect.

Interesting. The "-" in the name seems to break the search function in the wardec system.

(A search for CZ turns up results [though not the corp in question], but CZ- does not even though you can auto-link it and have it connect to that corp in chats.)

You can show info on the corp, right click on the little 4 white lines in the top Left corner and you can declare war from there. you can also auto link in chat right click on it and select declare war.

Also... posting that pic from within your pos with all the info might have been a mistake.

I actually can't remember the last time I declared war the way your doing it. I just Right Click and declare.

That did not work either. There is something going on. As such I have no problem posting the pic. This needs to be figured out and solved.

Best Bet is petition.

When I get my new Computer and am able to log into EVE again I will also try.... next week.

With regards to the pic... if your at war. That pic shows where you might have a POS since your in one.

Implementing partial search isn't CCPs strong side. Try partial search for solar system, -zac or 7-z and notice both don't find D7-ZAC. Fun part: Patch notes say it was fixed, bug report says it wasn't.

Contract search with a-type entries doesn't work either(I still need to bug report this one)

Maybe try searching it without the - .

Did you try changing it from "Exact Terms" to "Partial Terms" when searching?

There is a dropbox near it that is (By default) set to "Exact Terms" (Atleast in People and Places), changing it to "Partial Terms" should solve the issue.

It seems this window doesn't have the drop down, but it does have the tick box for exact. With People and Places, exact works better.

This is a new on on me. But if you can't declare war from the dropdown on the corp information something is clearly very wrong.
