Wow. That must have been both very 'heavy' and disturbing.

Threads like this are put up by children. Boys, not men. You should certainly still bother with men. You just won't find many in EVE, though - there are bound to be exceptions, of course, but not many.

ROFL @ all the "real" men in this thread who are taking it seriously. You found your manliness threatened by this thread or why do you feel the need to boost your ego by declaring that yes, you indeed have a girlfriend IRL? You know, as if that's a difficult thing to get OR that it's the only way to live.

Married btw, in case you're wondering. And I can safely say my wife is a lot more jealous of EVE than EVE is of my wife.

I'd like to think that the majority of guys in this thread are just having a laugh and the comments don't reflect how they actually think about women.

For the record, I'm happily married and I play Eve. Wife has no problem with it since we both consider it important to have our own "thing" to do. Otherwise we'd drive each other nuts.

I have a feeling this was directed at me. ROFL @ the softies that took my 'real men' comment seriously. Defensive much? FYI, I don't have a girlfriend. As I posted earlier in this thread, I'm almost entirely asexual, as well as being autistic, and I'm just not interested in relationships. Honestly, every minute I spend on giving someone else attention is another minute down the tube I could have spent on something I am far more interested in.

I have no interest in impressing men or women. I'm not here for a popularity contest, or any purported man v boy competition. If you think I took this thread seriously, you are mistaken, sir, and I would contend that perhaps you took my comment too seriously - but that happens, doesn't it? When you comment on gender, not unlike people who post threads like this commenting on the female gender, but as soon as the male gender gets a comment in reversal, suddenly we're all offended.

Take a hike. I wasn't wondering. I wouldn't give half a crap if you were married or lost on a desert island with nothing but a coconut to socialise with.

I think you just proved my point of taking this thread too seriously, despite of obviously trying to do otherwise.

Well.... I'm not going to try to deprive you of your delusions, but okay. btw, being married doesn't make one a man, it could just mean your wife has bad taste.

Did you take that personally? Again, why so defensive? I was merely making the point that marriage != maturity. When you live in bogan central for long enough, you'll know what I mean. I never suggested that YOUR wife has bad taste (although in your defence, I did use the word "your", but it was intended as a generalisation), just that it could be an alternative explanation to how someone immature managed to get married in the first place.

You're taking the thread too seriously, and too personally, and then accusing me of the same when I point it out. There's no possible way I can get "personal" with you without knowing something about you, or if I stumble upon a "nerve" in which you feel the need to get defensive.

I get the feeling, in this case, it's the latter. But I'm not attempting to offend you. If you feel offended, though, I might suggest you grab a beer and HTFU.

I'm still waiting for you to point where I was taking this thread seriously and you weren't. But I guess it's difficult to see while letting out all that steam. Carry on :)

EDIT: And just FYI, my first post to this thread was _not_ pointed at you in specific, but I'm glad that you decide to take it as a serious attack against your person.

Due to this not being EVE related, and numerous off colour and tasteless posts I am locking this thread.
