Miners aren't a singular entity in this game. If you could get alll the miners to strike your services would be better rendered in the UN than here.

Come on, they're perfectly balanced. That's why you see an even mix of them in the belts.... oh...

My God, it's Full of Macks!

not to mention the skiff/procurer still doesn't have a use.

actually the skiff is used frequently for solo mining in nullsec and wormholes where the rats are a helluva lot bigger

Ammo supplies would start to dwindle , the total capita of New Eden decreases rapidly disappear due to the perpetual warfare between the giants.

1st week:
Ships and ammo becomes increasingly rare , large scale fleet battles fades into the past .
Large corps start reprocessing the ECM ships and spamming rookie ships for the minerals.
The entrance system defense and perimeter patrols are strained.

2nd week :
Small gang pvp disappear entirely, majority of pvp battles are fought as gate camps .
Carrier support becomes much more prominent as every ship is now crucial .

3rd week :
Cruiser class or above vessels became as rare as Titans .
The major corps regroup at the center of their space to conserve resources and avoid unnecessary losses .
Null sec and low sec activity drops to minimal level.

4th week :
High sec mission running and R&D becomes the norm for all EvE players .
Ammo becomes the only currency in EvE.
ISK is now useless.

5th week :

Players start leaving EvE. Player and subscriber counts drop below 100k and the number of active players in the server at any moment dwindle to thousands . Mission running activity dropping to minimal level. The remaining players take to the Worm Holes , hoping to survive the apocalypse by doing PI .

6th week :
EvE is dead

I like it. This is the fiction just like hollywood would write it. It has raw emotion, low resources, a battle for survival, followed by bleak acceptance. Luckily this is exactly how hollywood would write it, not how it would play out.

0 miners mining would be that nullsec would cease to exist as a sov game as everything would be offline since nobody can get fuel isotopes. FW would be maxxed out and tech two would eventually be phased out since you aren't allowed to mine. Industry in hisec would be exactly like lowsec - with the winners being the people on at 1min after DT who buy out the entire NPC seed of items and minerals to reconvert to what is needed market wise.

Besides, with all the miners not mining people can now reprocess the largest mineral sinks in the game - mining vessels and dreadnaughts.

Going back to the original question if all miners stopped mining i would imagin it to be like the movie "Mad MAX 2 : Road Warrior" exept people fighting over what little Trit is left. LOL

If you find yourself in a fair fight in EvE your tactics suck!!!

1st week:

People cash out on the slightly rising prices of the market.

The strike is over.

people with stocks of minerals would be at the advantage, releasing minerals through over priced contracts.

Starting players would actually have something to mine in their starter system or nearby systems.

I don't quite know why but I instantly started thinking about that "canada on strike" episode of south park.

Now now, just because you wouldn't be able to use Turn Undead on her doesn't mean it would be the end of the world. I'm sure other standard remedies such as burning would still have full effect.

This assumes that members of high sec could be organized and uniformed enough to pull it off.

Given how they can barely get together to organize a decent CSM member, I some how doubt they could every stop mining long enough for it to make any real difference.

Apparently you are unaware that minerals are not 100% sourced from miners?

Not going to happen, there is no collective thinking in players that solo most of the time, besides nullies don't buy minerals in hi and the other mining corps in hi would take advantage of solo players absence, besides even if all of hi did would hardly be felt.
