15" Macbook Pro Retina Resolution Problem

Hey there. The screen on the new Macbook Pro 15" Retina is 2880x1800. I can play Eve fullscreen on this machine at that res. However, I much prefer to play windowed so I have easy access to other apps. For some reason, if I select windowed, the client won't let me go any higher than 1440x900. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong or if there is a fix to this issue?

I have the same issue: been discussing it with Xander and my solution has been to give up and run the game windowed at 1440... which is a great shame as it looks stunning at full retina resolution full screen. But full screen isn't an option given the other apps + browser running.

Any hints at a fix would be great!
