Skill Queue Bug

I don't know if anyone has come across this before and I couldn't find an obvious place to post it, but I just came across a bug with the skill training queue :-

Last night, I injected Guided Missile Precision skill into my char. I was training Amarr Offensive Systems at the time. I then dragged Guided Missile Precision to the top of my queue and hit Apply. Everything is fine. I then thought, what the hell, and dragged Guided Missile Precision lvl2 to the queue, obviously just after the lvl1 but before Amarr Offensive Systems, hit Apply and logged off.

When I logged back on this morning, the icon in the left hand toolbar said that there were no skills in the queue. Opening up the training queue showed Guided Missile Precision lvl2 in training and Amarr Offensive Systems queued up, with the timer counting down on the currently training skill. However, closing and re-opening the window showed the timer hadn't advanced and just started again at exactly the same time as it was the first time the queue was opened. No actual progress was being made.

Eventually, I had to remove all skills from the queue and re-add them as nothing else would fix this issue.

I lost 12 hours training from this. Not a biggie, but it could very easily have been 12 days or more if I had set long skills and gone on holiday etc

Anyone else seen this?

There's a reason I always click Apply a few times before closing the queue window.

You should wait at least five seconds after clicking Apply, before you close the client.

I once didn't log in for over a month and had no skill training running. Now that hurt. What?

This sort of thing happened to me, I was training a skill added another to the queue hit apply and logged off a bit later, logged on the next day to find the first skill completed half way though the night and the other skill sat in the queue inactive, I petitioned it but didn't get anywhere. Luckily I only lost 6hours or so of training.

I only reported that June 26th, 2009.

Ofcourse it was filtered with it being unable to reproduce.

As a suggestion, can you please leave a sort of "breadcrumb" something behind if you move a topic?
No problem you move topics where they belong but a "moved" tag + old post at the forum it originated from would go a long way making things a lot more easier to find back. :o

I just got the same bug today. Exactly as the OP described. I have lost about 3 hours training time waiting for a petition response.
