Survey Networks, worth it?

I've been googling a while now and have yet to find any information about the Survey Networks other than what is needed to place one. Does anyone have any experience with SN upgraded systems? I'm currently having a go at scanning in null and was interested in the effects this module had on a system.

Well, we got one after 2 months without (I think its lv 3), and I've seen much more hacking sites since then. Before the upgrade, we had 0 hacking sites in 3 months (and yes, I've scanned them day by day), with it, I can scan down atleast one every couple of days.

Don't expect wonders, especially not in DroneRegions. Can't say anything about other regions though. :(
