Issues, Workarounds & Localization

So I have a gank Talos that I use only occasionally, mostly for ganking dreads, assisting in dropping POS's, bridging BS gangs etc etc. So the last time I used it, it worked perfectly fine, no offline mods, no issues whatsoever. Expansion/Patch hits. I get a call out that a corpmate has a Harb pointed with his SFI in our home system. So I jumo into said Talos undock and spam warp to. As I am in warp I notice that my high slots are dark. Every single one of them. Land get scrammed webbed in my desperation to online them. Die. Since the ship and mods worked perfectly fine before patch, wouldn't it be perfectly logical to assume that the fault was that of the server/client and not of my own? Well not according to the wonderful GM, who understands the "frustration" of my loss but he cant confirm with his logs their fault. Also Harb was ASB fitted and would've melting under 1000 dps so getting scrammed and webbed are irrelevant, he would've died and I would've lived with my weapons online.
