scams only target new players and their perpetrators (GOON) are why eve is not growing

Ccp need to ban all GOON and ban all scammers

Woah! This is what I get for not reading the second page straight away. Butt-hurt alert, clean-up in the "I got scammed" isle!

Im not butthurt, its just not fair that new players get scammed out of everything they have (like here) and forced to either unsub or start over while GOON uses their isk to ruin the game more when they burn jita

yes, clearly a new player , that guy plays since 2005 if he is the original owner AND red to smitty. If you are in a null alliance , can buy a titan , have that game age and STILL don't know what goons are about you haven't been PLAYING eve.

Scamming in eve is partof the experience... just like IRL caveat emptor.... buyer beware. its all fair game because some careful reading or simple application of logic (too good to be true? check! Then it is) will tell you if its a scam.

A fool and his isk are soon parted.

plex and character sales

nobody who plays for 8 years can fall for scams because they already know better , scams only targets noobs

Checked his posting habbit.First post is from a year ago and in that time this char did not get sold.Meaning his age is AT LEAST 1 year +.

Edit: and just checked crhibbs eve search , nope char never was sold , so yes he is 8+ .

And i noticed OP your posts only consist of anti goon blabla. So either a goon yourself to attract attention or someone butthurt enough to create an alt for bad goon posting.

Anyone can be scammed. Being a 10 year old eve veteran doesnt stop you being a gullible or overly trusting fool.

Its all about personal responsibility. It isnt that scams are great and are a valued part of EVE... its that EVE forces you to protect yourself via your wits at all times. When you carebear candyland safety coat everything, the loss of edge and challenge is significant.

Even shopping is dangerous in EVE.

but why should it be? scams only ruin the experience and the only ones who support it are pvp undesirables and GOON

1. Almost no one have read original post below title Lol
2. I'm right about scams - this is just another toy and don't have special place in global Eve Online Economy.

Besides playing all aspects of eve and having played them i am mostly a trader.I have never scammed anyone , loaned out 100's of billions on market discussion forum.I have lost my part both in loandefaults as ingame through scams/backstabbing and all.

That said i FULLY endorse scamming , it's part of eve and should never EVER be removed from this game. The only ones who want it removed are those who do not like the total package eve delivers. It is a TOTAL package , either accept that or leave eve aside.

Falling for a scam doesn't make you stupid, but not learning from it does.
