Ni-kunni and Mishi - anything happening here?

I saw a bunch of background material on the wiki on the Ni-Kunni homeworld. Seemed like there was a bunch of things that could be done there along the lines of promoting trade to Mishi (no station over Mishi IV?), hauling ice to the planet, clearing the line of travel to the center of the Empire, etc. Is that new, and is anyone doing anything with any of that in game yet?

The only thing someone wanted to do not that long ago with Ni-Kunni was to fight the Ammarians - https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=139086

I'm not awere about anything more that that.

A lot of the background material is just that, background material to flesh out the world our playing characters live in. CCP Abraxas gives a good comment on that in this post (third reply).

But feel free (I even encourage you) to act on the background material and lore! Ultimately, you might even change the lore itself as it is the EvE players that make the stories in and of this game. And you are one of them. Big smile

I'm a Ni-Kunni Maire, so I'd be interested in doing something to promote/develop the planet. So if you have any plans or ideas, or just want to discuss it, I'm open.

I was the duder who wrote all that stuff (and subsequently had CCP Abraxas think I was a crazy man for being the one person in existence who cared about the Ni-Kunni). It was all a bunch of fluff background stuff I wrote because I have a huge love for the Ni-Kunni for unexplained reasons. When I wrote it originally, a job with CCP was more of a pipe dream, so that article has no relevance for future storyline plans or anything.

Though I fully endorse anyone who wants to do anything relating to the Ni-Kunni, be it some sort of ancient Ni-Kunni revivalist group or whatever. I'll definitely follow along in interest and then silently curse you for doing it wrong when you make choices I wouldn't have. Blink

What is actually the current status for the race blending option in the character creator? Have I have miss alot of news since the last fanfest.... so is there something new?

Maybe drop it here. There you can play around with your idea more, and maybe another player could add another layer to it.








P.S. Other sides from me, sadly this question is still open. Any help is welcome. As Im shortly on a small eve break, it would be great to hear other players ideas on this and this. Big smile
