Looks like he shares the concern about the null-sec heavy CSM....

Interview With CCP CEO

QUOTE:

"But some of my concerns right now relate to whether the CSM is maybe focused on a particular aspect of the game and I'm starting to get feedback from players that they worry the CSM is too pre-occupied by a certain playstyle. That might mean we may need to change the structure, but definitely the CSM has worked as a feedback tool greatly throughout the years. We will have them over at the end of the year, after everything that's gone on, and we will have a chance to talk about that. We'll just see where we are and take it from there"

"If a miner needs to go to the bathroom, for instance, I ask that they dock up first, or at the very least ask the Supreme Protector for permission to go."  -  James 315 - aka - the miner bumper

Greetings, and hello!

I am honourable space trucker Jr Instructorcon. I have arrived at the ground floor of what is most likely to be a short, precise, and intelligent discussion to bring you my observation:

If we break up the CSM positions to align with approximate player distributions across high, low, null, and w-sec, then those who "reside" in a certain sphere which receive the most amount of votes will get a positions, even if their vote total is significantly lower than another.

For example, while I am an honourable space trucker of the grand TEST Alliance Please Ignore, I am also the CEO of a highsec manufacturing corp. I post this, of course, because this change could potentially allow me, a reputable and gallant highsec tycoon, to get a position on the Council of Stellar Management with very, very few votes.

I look forward to your intelligent discourse and reply.

Uh yeah I think it has more to do with the fact that 90% of the csm is entirely Combat focused. Not a single person there actually knows anything substantial about MIning, Industry, maybe they do some PI, but it's all pvp/mission/ratting.

The CSM is representation by population. No matter what changes occur, 0.0 will still have one of the largest player bases, and will have the best coordination. There is no doubt that 0.0 alliances will always have representatives on CSM and will always have the largest influence on changes.
