Suspect status and pirating

I think that the new suspect status should be reworked, because as it is it makes can flipping either extremely difficult or next to impossible depending on the system. For those who don't know (I found out the hard way) when you steal from someone's can, no matter who it is, every capsuleer in the game can attack you for 15 minutes, and destroy your pod. If you do can flip someone, you have to pray no one else comes to the belt before you kill them, then either warp to station and hope you dock in time or hide out in a safe spot. I don't believe general kill rights should be given because of theft from a jet can, but singular or corp kill rights should be given like before.

If you want to play pirate, accept the consenquences of your actions.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

so what youre saying is that pirates arent actually looking for PvP so much as an easy gank on a helpless ship?

I'm not complaining about it, it's something that will take getting used to, but I was just giving feedback that I thought the aggression system was better before that was added. I may very well be in the minority on this issue though

Oh yeah, definitely clusterfcuk of aggro "who can shoot who and when and why" that was before crimewatch 2.0 was better Roll

Could have fooled me.

You have already pointed out how to handle the new crimewatch. Go to a safe spot.

If you don't read the patch notes, dev blogs or forum when details of the changes have been made public pretty much everywhere, then thats your own stupid fault. These changes were detailed for months before they came into force.

There was very little anyone could do against a can flipper previously. Realistically, the changes have leveled the playing field.

i guess there be quite some people loosing interest in can flipping, now that there is a chance for them to be caught and brought to justice.
but im not sure about the pod thing. as not even concord destroys your pod when they get your ship, i'd say no player wins the right of smashing your egg. im pretty sure that player got wacked by concord for molesting your pod.

They'd have to have someone already there or at a close safe to catch u. if they've planned that well then they deserve to take ur ship.

working as intended.
