I'm sorry but while I do love the BBC's documentary crew, Alice Roberts has no place presenting this show. Just... No. She's an MD who decided to hop into palaeoanthropology and her books are the worst kind of watered down tripe fed to Uni Students so she can claim royalties.

As for off the coast of Florida. Probably one of the richest areas in the world for sunken Spanish gallies as previous mentioned. In fact the whole area around Florida if excavated would probably net you billions in bullion in today's money. But probably wouldn't meet the cost of the digs. Sad

Also it still sucks that in the UK if you find treasure it doesn't belong to you! If I found a Saxon treasure trove I'd bung it in my grand parents attic and claim it came from their farm decades ago or maybe over a century ago.
