I was waging the war on entitlement before it was cool. I've taken a lot of criticism from the community for it, but I stand by my ideals. I find is disgusting how entitled people are, it's as if they think they somehow deserve something.

So basically, they're asking for a sandbox without proper sandbox features, and they believe in-game mechanics will be an adequate measure against meta-game activities. They also seem to have little to no clue about the history of EVE.

Likewise. I have warm fuzzy feelings when I think about Wing Commander. But since I got into Eve, nothing else seems to 'work' for me. Hopefully they(RSI) don't make it too protected, then it'd become really boring... and fast.

Well, whats wrong with STO for you? I didn't find it appealing because you can't constantly screwing each other. So it should be what you are looking for?

Goonswarm in general are slaves of own gaming style , realy they slaves, camping null region 24/7 and using alts in empire to haul stuf etc, they are victims of your self :) that is freedom? realy? come on, who care about thier rich moons etc, as carebear who do pvp on occasion i feel more freedom than these null space slaves.

EvE isn't game, its style of living.

Frankly I'm glad this game is getting attention, so that once it fails people can be like "well there's EVE, that's the game this one was trying to be..."

Basically EVE but you're never allowed to have an alt or make a new char is what would make a good MMO. The way you can use alts to dodge all consequence in EVE is a bit of a shame, but too late to do anything about it now.

Who said every space game must be focused on PvP, well pvp is very importand in every game but not definitely as main core, its all depend Devs vision and gamers needs.

In fact virtual worlds like EvE cant exist without pve and people who prefer carebear gaming style, imagine EvE without mass scale pve, economy etc, imagine EvE only based on PVP, worse nightmare ever, 2000 online who enjoy pure boring arcade pvp.

EvE is great because its full of different people who focus on different things.

EvE isn't game, its style of living.

You did awesome work in Star Trek Online (Starfleet Dental if I recall?).

Yep, that's exactly why they're launching a whole new game on PS3 soon. I'm sure everyone who starts running out of money just goes ahead and starts spending more on new games.

You know what... the only emergent gameplay I ever see coming out of EVE is coming out of the so-called "big alliances". In fact, the only emergent gameplay I'm aware of in EVE at all consistently initiates from Goonswarm Federation members

Sounds like most of it is about how broken 0.0 is in this game, and i'm inclined to agree.

No new game should ever try and copy that.

+1 this. I never liked Wing Commander anyway. The X-wing series always beat it hands down, anyway.
