Why did CCP stop making them? I loved the lore and the backstory and I really really miss them. Start making chronicles again!!

Also according to this page: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Portal:EVE_Chronicles there are a some (not many) chronicles published this this year too.

Too bad they don't advertise or publish the chronicles like they used to. I used to enjoy them as well but I guess it goes against CCPs views of EVE being all about the players.

Yet other than player driven nul drama. Canon is necessary for new tech or mechanics like when wormholes launched or incursions. Since CCP has been on a fix kick and not making new shinies apart from ships and revisit old mechanics, there has not been much to influence new stories. The Dust side has been providing stories though to establish historical links and origin.

It's a shame CCP stopped caring about the actual story and culture within New Eden. The chronicles used to come out fortnightly and were always a welcome sight. The game feels soulless without them, at least for me.
