Hello everyone! The Pod and Planets Fiction Contest has come and gone and I just want to say once again how amazing the whole experience has been. I was basically on my first week of the job when Telegram Sam contacted me about some CCP support for the contest and it has exceeded all our wildest expectations. We had 101 entrants, 66 in the 8000 Suns in New Eden category and 35 in the Day in the Life category.

It was a pleasure to read the stories and there were some hard choices to make. Even after all three of the judges had their scores in, there were numerous ties to break. But, in the end, we have come up with our winners.

Congrats to everyone! There was a lot of work and beautiful witting put into this. I've enjoyed everyone's time, sweat, and written words tremendously!

Thank you for making and judging this as well. Its been an awesome example of Eve's depth and CCP's interest in its game and players.

Congratulations dudes! I mostly approve of this list, there's some good stories getting some well-earned kudos. I haven't read them all, but certainly 'Anvil of the Nameless' and 'Hunted' were great pieces.

Despite not placing, I'd love to get a few more eyeballs on my own story - you can read it here.

Thanks to Telegram Sam for conceiving and arranging a great contest with an unbelievable turnout. Thanks to CCP Eterne and CCP Falcon for what must have been an amazing amount of reading and difficult judging, and to all the sponsors for some truly awesome prizes.

Congratulations to all the winners! Great stories that faced some fearsome high quality competitors indeed.
And if your story didn't win one of the few prizes-- congratulations as well! As Eterne and Falcon said, there were many, many good entries. The quality of entries was high and there was more good stuff than we had prizes for.

If you want feedback on your story, you can EVE mail me as well. And at some point I'll post something about trends I noticed among the entries (themes, favored protagonists, favored villains, etc.)
