Have missiles been made obsolete after winter patch ?

So I have not played much since a few weeks before winter patch. I had a thought that Missiles would be rendered useless in most cases after this "fix" .

Well from what I see it seems I was correct looking at the Incursion fleet comps and from http://eve-kill.net/?a=top20
It seems less people are using missiles.

I'm in training for guns but it will be months before my skills are even worth fleeting. So is there any plans or talk about this?
Might be old news but I have not been online much but I was not shocked to see the lack of use of missiles.
It is pretty clear that missiles are completely broken compared to other systems now so what's the fix?

By CCP rules they have to nerf the other systems now since they never buff do to "power creep"
Thoughts feed back ? Trolls will be ignored flames as well.
I am sort of at an in between with EVE I could care less if I play or not got other things going on IRL but still would like something to log onto and enjoy once in awhile. But as it is I logged and seen less missile boats in use then ever..

My Drake lost an entire 10DPS, and 10km range.... Broken as ****, isn't it?

How about testing things before going to **** on the forums about something you didn't even try.

You do realize that those stats are fort his year only right? It also lists the Rokh as the most popular ship.

Why would you use missiles in Incursions anyway? I would much rather have a Mach/Nightmare in the fleet over a Tengu or CNR and if you're flying a drake in Incursions how did you get in fleets in the first place?

Also INB4 move to Ships and Modules

confirming that HML's continue to wotk just fine in L4's
T2 @ 70km
CN @ 90 km
6x T2 launchers = 550-650dps




[thread hijack]
i fly a 6x HML Tengu in L4's occasionally
switching between Fury & Precision ammo is quite a good idea since the missile changes

however i've noticed
battleships take some serious pounding from furies to die
battle cruisers die in 2-3 volleys from furies

and both frigates and cruisers are best dispatched with precision ammo ??
or is it just me thats noticed this ?
(standard and elite npc varieties seem to make no difference)

Yah it was more of a how are missiles doing these days then anything but it typical eve player fashion people get butthurt over stupid things.

HML took a nerf because they were over powered and took up most of the kills not they are not even top 20 just saying.

So what you mean is that people switched to another missile that better accomplishes their goal.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

I was running missions with a buddy who flies Tengu yesterday, and having 1 kill to his 10 as I couldn't get them in range to shoot before they popped, I'd have to say no.

Insta pop rails? there is such a thing? I haven´t looked at them for... well... many years but i´m quite sure i would have at least heard of a buff to that degree.

I got lost in thought... it was unfamiliar territory.

You realise that at that same time missiles will also be buffed by using TC/TE right? Oh I'm sorry for bringing facts into this **** thread, let the baseless whining continue.
