I undock, but quickly lose motivation to stay out. I don't even spin ships--I just watch them float in station.

looks like all I'll be playing is Evemon and hit-the-snooze-button until next semester. truth is, I don't know what to do with January. the last time I had a dry spell like this was 2010 and I only logged to catch up on mail.

my roommate suggested finding an alliance, but playing on other players' schedules sounds like work.

then find a big alliance, as long as you log in every 1-2 weeks they arn't going to notice you don't play all that much. Hey maybe you even play a lot, just happen to be in an unfortunate timezone. =)

What have you been spending the majority of your time doing up until now? If you don't like the idea of joining a large alliance, you could consider joining up with a faction warfare corp. or perhaps joining in with the Incursions community. The only real limit to what you can do in EVE is your imagination Big smile

You clearly need to get into station trading, you don't have to undock and you develop great spreadsheet skills at the same time, while earning good honest isk.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Dont wory its natural thing, espetialy if you play a lot and you feel exhausted form game, or you are old player like me, yesterday i do 2 x gone berserk mission but i notice my last faction standing gain was in 2012 in july, this mean few months ago i do some misions until yesteday....

Same like you i spent a lot time in station and waching ships in zombe mode, i try find motivation but is realy hard espetlay i play from 2006 and i was more than 1,5 year online (total online time regarding to some eve board statistic)

During my career in EvE i try all things in game, from being hardcore miner who spent two years on asteroid belts, a hardcore carebear with 9.9 to caldari state, to null space ally member, ally diplo, a pirate, antypitate, i know how large capital fleet fight and titans taste, i was bored from using jump bridges - CTA... i try FW, POS, PI, exploring, just evey aspect and feature in this game, and not just lick these themes i realy enjoy every EvE features form A to Z in long them, but what now, no idea, waiting for better times, and soon tm ;)

Few years in this game is realy long them, and nothing wrong with you if you wach ships in zombe mode ;)

Take a break from EvE, dont be a slave, somtime berak is good idea, and when feel hungry again you always welcome here.

If it bleed we can kill it.

Get a cloaky ship and start roaming when and where you like, invite a RL/eve friend and have some fun.
If none of the above helps, plz. contract me all your stuffz, preferrably by midnight.

Yup same here , answer is same as oxylan just take a break.Try another mmorpg/mmofps or anything and stay away for at least a few months. Then after a time come back and se if the drive is there again.

Playing planetside 2 myself , new laptop died 2 days back so ding some small stuff in eve to keep me occupied now but once it's repaired back to planetside for me.I'm allways subbed to eve but i do like to take breaks from actively playing every now and then.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

i just... mostly keeping skill queue full, and taking missions casually. I might've made a mistake by jumping from 3 clients to 5, because it really wears me down. http://i.imgur.com/z5l5v.jpg http://i.imgur.com/SeSun.jpg

I was in a great wormhole corp who taught me wh mechanics, but that wore me down too

I'm not leaving EVE, I just... can't undock

EVE is what you make of it. If you depend on other players to create content for you then you'll just get bored wherever you end up.

The best thing to do is make goals. And don't just say I want to make X amount of ISK. Be creative and smart.

i want 125million SP across all my characters lol

isk isn't a big priority to me--I just buy it when I run out. I bought four or five 6-packs of plex in 2012, I don't remember exactly

EVE is there when I'm ready to fly around, I know that much. and that's good

I'm sorry, this was a dumb thread. I'm just in a funk.

I suggest forgetting about "something to do".

Undock, cruise around and search for a populated, but silent system.

The map helps you determine which systems are populated.

Move there ... then start talking. Talk about whatever. Doesn't matter.

If nobody replies within the next five minutes ... try again in a different system,
or start becoming annoying.

Most reason for apathy usually is lack of communication.

If you have trouble finding anybody who you can annoy (*cough*),
fit a cruiser and gank a random frigate, then post the killmail in local
and start making fun of him.

If you're a carebear though ... well, then you deserve your state of mind anyway.

Oh and use the winnings from EOH and Blink to put bounties on bad posters

I'm a good poster so don't worry about putting bounties on me

I play on my own schedule. If someone happens to be doing a fleet while I'm on, great. If not, oh well. I'll find other things to do.

When I don't just decide to say screw it and go play something else, I marketeer. It isn't always face value profit making but more about long term EVE objectives. Monitoring items that I would need to make any where from 1 to 8 items. Watching them rise and fall, buying to beat the cartel kind of thing. I had parts to make several thousand medium T2 Elutriation rigs at around 2 mill each. I sold the current pumps when they hit 800 but the time it took to assemble the list was around 6 months and it kept me busy while logged in, just checking various components and building leads on future manufacturing.
