AS the the title says i am a new player looking to get into piracy and small gang pvp. I am probably asking a lot for this, but if possible it would be absolutely awesome if a experienced pirate/active pvper would take me under their wing to teach me. Also if you guys could post some tips on how i can begin my pirating and gang experience. I have a friend also who wants to do the same thing as i, so i would not be solo :P. I am really confused on how to find fights often, so some help on that would be awesome.

Also if there is anyone who would like to join my friend and i then feel free to message me.

all in all if anyone wants to be a mentor for me in becoming a pirate and on how to pvp i would greatly appreciate it. Also any tips/guides would be awesome. Especially on how to find kills.

Thanks guys

    1) have a hauler alt. stuff in low-sec is almost always over-priced and you can never expect to get the mods or ships you need
    2) have a second source of income. living on pirating proceeds is quite difficult. I know I've done it.
    3) fit a bunch of t1 frigates and jump in some novice plexes with your buddy. You'll make kills and be killed, its the nature of the beast.
    4) there is a diffrence in pirating/ganking and pvp. for the most part pirates try and kill easy targets quick for profit without much risk. PVP implies some amount of risk, its alot funner than pirating although the end result is you die, even if your k:d ratio is positive at evenings end. some people like me switch back and forth.
    5) most low-sec dwellers in local are willing to chat up aspiring low-sec dwellers, but most low-sec corps like players with established records. Faction Warfare may be a good option for you just to get your low-sec feet wet before jumping in head first, many corps in FW take new players. It might not be for you but it is an option.
6)contact me in game, Im willing to answer any specific questions I can.
