A J244 has a Max Mass of 20 mil kg and a total mass of 1 billion kg.

So, in order to force a collapse of these kinds of Class 1 wormholes, you'd have to pass through 50 ships of about 20 mil kg. Does that mean there's no feasible way to force a collapse of wormholes into Class 1 systems unless you want to make 50 trips over the course of several hours?

C1 WHs freaking suck to collapse. But you can do it in about 30min with 3 BCs

you can to use a Stabber with a 100mn AB on it, brings its mass to 60 mill when turned on or roughly 14 mill w/out AB

so 8 rnd trips with this and you have a closed hole, the last trip out don't turn on your AB then when you come back in turn it on, it should collapse - as poster above said its nice if you have a dictor on hand in case mass gets weird on you

Ok maybe i'm getting stuff really mixed up but if max mass is 20million how you going to get the stabber through with 100mn ab on if its 60 million

OOooops, my bad never lived in a C1 and misread your mass limitations

tbh I think I've only been in a C1 like 3 times... so yes I failed... again... at internet spaceships

I will remove the response, sorry I couldn't help newbro o/

Actually, this might work if you were willing to go to the trouble, which might be worth it if you needed a good exit in a tight situation.

Each retriever (or similar size battlecruiser) trip would be 40mil kg. So, if you had three people, that would be 120mil kg mass about every five minutes. So, after an exciting hour of thrilling back and forth travel, you would collapse the hole.

Yeah, you'd want a gang of half a dozen or so people doing this exercise, or maybe more, as many hands do make light work here ;) although you only need 1 Retriever (or Mackinaw) and 1 HIC if you don't mind having a gaggle of pods on the "home" side of the WH.

when i close a wh in our class 1 i do it with 3 of my accounts, 2 in cheap haulers and myself in a HIC, phobos for me. get the wh to unstable and than only use the hic to close it safely.

got the ships decently stabbed in case someone drops by.
an scout that stays outside the wh issnt a bad thing either but i dont do that all the time

We took a C5 with a static C1 not long ago .....and i'm here to tell you there is NO painless way to close that type of hole. It helps to some degree with security, other then that, it sucks hard. Move on, or enjoy the pain in the @ss hole. (see what I did there?)

EDIT: Up untill not long ago, they were even crappier, with even more mass..count your blessings.
