Snowball's, Firework's &... Paintball's!?

In the latest episode of Podside (iTunes Podcast for EVE Online) we bring up the idea of unleashing colorful paintballs upon unsuspecting Capsuleers ships, leaving a more lasting mark then melting snow. This would be a great thing to celebrate the release of paint skims for Ship. Get 300 PAINTBALL With Every Paint Job!

Could this be tied into some kind of score counter?

And useable with every type of weapon (an ammo type perhaps)?

I'm thinking an actual mechanic to have SpacePaintBall games would be fun.

Make them dependent on line of sight and all of the sudden asteroid belts make for good games.
