Hi, my name is VLad - i CEO corp - "Game Travel" , and we need some help, to kill some extortionists - they say " pay us 2kkk or we kill you and you corp". Can any help us in war? - or just kill them many time. We are all miners and carebears- don't like pvp , just live and make some isk . (And sorry for my Eng skill). Big smile

If they do attack you, I think you could get own back by selling kill rights or allowing someone to assist u if is a corp war although I do not know exact mechanics.

give them 2k 3 times. 6k is nothing. OR maybe you meant 2Bil in which case why not just say 2Bil.

Wait for them to blow their ISK on wardec. Disband corp. Reform it. Repeat as needed.

I would refuse to pay based upon the fact that they use '2kkk' rather than just '2b'.

I'm sure it gets more successful if one could actually easy understand how much the ransom is.

look at other corps in your area. If some are willing to help, form an alliance so you have some "muscle" once you refuse to pay. I imagine you are not part of an alliance (or, a small one) which is why they have targeted you. If you do secure an alliance, arrange escorts for your miners so your corp can continue mining but you have bodyguards at hand. If there is no local alliances you feel comfortable joining, see if a few corp members wouldn't mind setting up another corp to alliance with as a PvP corp (keeping yours as a separate non PvP corp). That way, you'll only have to look for members instead of whole alliances.

The main issue is, if you DO pay them (I do not recommend this) it encourages them to come back and ask for more at a later date.

Play the political game, discredit them in your area and mail other local corps of their tactics. See if any other (bigger) local corps would be willing to play the same game on them. You could always give them the 2,000,000,000 in the form of a bounty on their corp. You would have fulfilled their request, but in a manner much more suited to yourselves :)

In order to clarify the amount in question, ask them to first give you 1kkk. Then you can double their ISK and send it back.
