The HR Gap: Solving The "Trust" Problem

I think the reason that people have trust issues in EVE is because of a lack of HR support services which allow corps to fine comb applicants. Therefore I propose the following, realistic, and automated system for pre screening candidates. This is based on what the real world does, and we all love it.

  • Auto block applications with less than X sp - This way I can require all applicants to have 75m sp to be in my corp.
  • Auto block applications with more than X sp - So I don't get someone overqualified.
  • Auto block applications with less than X years of experience - I can demand 15 years of experience.
  • Auto block applications with more than X years of experience - So I don't have to pay as much.
  • Auto block applications with less than X in wallet - Only rich people deserve jobs.
  • Auto block applications with more than X in wallet - Some jobs are too good for plebians.

In addition I should be able to randomly fire people and post bad reviews on them that cannot be hidden or removed directly to their employment info. This way future employers will know how I feel.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

In order to abuse this I would file bad reviews about everyone I possibly could.

Also, if I could screen candidates I would use those perameteres to find out exactly how much SP and money everyone had. I know how much to scam them for then.

I won't ever trust a corp that tries to recruit me now.

Don't forget killboard statistics, length of employment history, contact list, average ISK in wallet and the amount of sunlight that hits their face per day.

There is this cool thing called an API key, when using it, you can find out any of the following information: SP, wallet balance, assets, market orders, production orders, mail, contacts, kill mail, skill que, weather or not the character is independent on the account, plus much more and most programs to view this information are free.
So what you want already exists, no need to ask for what we have.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Yeah how was the Phrase of Lenin: " Trust is good, control is better."

If I´m not wrong most wealthier and larger Corps want your API after at least a Month. And if you want to be in such a corp, by the time you should trust them enough. That also goes the other Way if you want Members trust them, also some of them are surely not trust worthy in many Ways.

Corp UI and managment need serious overhaul was said already for ages. BUT yes you hsould be able to write a review to employment history. The player can decide to hide the review but then it should hide all reviews. Same gamemechanic as with medals.

But unfortunately people can choose not to give their API. That is a problem.

This is a hard one then, if they refuse, they are hiding something and don't hire them.

so then in the recruitment you state need an API or don't waste yours and our time time. Every real corp I joined had several things stated up front:

link to a site with with the form letter needed to fill out : what can you fly, what do you like to fly, real game flying experience in pvp (as sp's don't mean much sometimes....prime example would be the 3 year carebear breaking his pvp corp cherry since he can fly a vargur or mach pretty damn good, vaga probably not so good), basic getting to know you crap like this

form should state give us the api or this app goes into the circular file.

All you ask is in game already. Its called assigning good people to the recruiting billets. No api makes their job real easy. Not there, trash the app. Or if they are nice enough write the applicant and say hey buddy....forgot the API.

I don't mind the screening, but Employment History is bad enough just existing. Having every corporation you have ever joined being able to say nasty things about you directly to anyone looking at your Employment History is worse.
