Can u sell chars with a negative wallet?

hey guys i got stung when buying my other char i didnt know u could only buy plex from ccp and not have them strip your wallet for the value but with the wallet being so bad ill never be able to use it but id like to get some money back from him so i havent wasted all that money please help, CCP dont believe i didnt know at the time and i cant prove it . also is there anyone out there willing to buy a char with negative balance? you know who you are with thiose deep pockets of yours :()

when selling a character, the payment for the character is sent to the character being traded. providing that money is enough to put your character above zero, you can sell the character. Character transfers require a positive bank balance on the character.

you will have to think "is the char worth more than the debt of the wallet"

then add the xfer fees and decide if its worth selling.

the isk will be send to the char being sold hence the wallet going back into pos standings.

Pretty sure the forum thread has to say that the wallet is negative, if it says that, then you knew; if it didn't, then you got scammed and CCP will do something about it... it's pretty black and white.
