Ahhh hang on - another dev blog on Market stuff? What's going on? ... I'm not used to this love.

The last one was only a month ago wasn't it? You're in danger of getting my hopes up.

The market, at least to some degree, is a violent and exciting battleground with schemes, manipulations, deceive and all sort of feints and hidden traps. It is a pity thought that often only a tiny tiny fraction of these battles and this excitement is revealed to the broader audience.

I agree. The issue is, the more public these entities become, the less effective they are. I still regret going public earlier this year.
We had existed in peace and with hilarious profits for years without even CCP knowing we existed. It is a double edged sword.

So unless you are trying to improve the game, see TMC articles, there is little upside to revealing schemes.

We do enjoy giving the game some content though. Just a fine line to walk.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The vast majority of EVE players don't get trading (let alone scams, let alone dev blogs, let alone schemes) or know that they exist. It took me two years to even find the forums and I know guys playing longer who still couldn't care. They log in to blow stuff up. With that said there are plenty of old exposed schemes that have plenty of room to grow and still do. Yeah you guys don't make ludicrous profits but you still make great ones and like you said, you gain notoriaty and add to the content of the game...to me that adds more to the game and long term sustainability of all of us than keeping quiet. I think it is a win-win-win for everyone.

TLDR; I think you are doing the right thing walking the line.

P.S. At the risk of complimenting the "all evil" Goons. :) You guys are great at theory-crafting and have awesome powers of observation. It adds a lot to the game. Now back to our regularly scheduled animosity.

Continuous player since 2007.

Well, that leaves CCP. We have to assume they monitor everything we do now. So, we have to operate with the assumption we are watched much like the CSM, even if it isn't true.

Ah well, that is what makes EVE fun.

There are things we have been doing now for months that impact a large portion of the economy beyond what people assume we do. Hopefully someday we can do a write up on that, when it is finished of course.

I doubt all the container buying was based on mineral speculation; I bought some station containers at 15k and now am selling them at ~200K. That is clearly mineral spec. I wish I had bought 28 bil worth of them...

When you got close to a million station containers in some station, even jita, you'll be hard pressed to find a way to sell them.

Even just to profit you'd have to sell close to 100k (assuming the above numbers).

Those graphs have some sexy curves. I'll print them and put em on my walls.
