[Bug] Active camera sometimes moves from designated location

I've noticed that the camera defaults to a more central location than what I have it set to. The camera is active, and locks onto and follows my target; it's just not in the location on the screen I set.

Enter grid and you're already dead, destined to be reborn and fight another day.
