Pull my 5 accounts this morning. Not a drop in the bucket for CCP I am certain, and nothing will change.

I hope you all fly safe and continue to enjoy the game that is EvE, I have lost interest due to the constant ego driven changes that CCP makes while ignoring feedback from their paying customers.

I tried the new AI changes. It's nothing I can not adapt to, but to be honest I don't play to be "engaged" by mission pixels, I play to relax. If I want to micromanage with a **** poor interface, I can do that at work.

It's just not worth the aggravation.

Best of luck to you all and perhaps we will meet again.

o7 capsuleer, may you find better carebearing elsewhere.

CCP has no sense of humour.

Honestly I loved living in Null, just don't have the time for it these days with family and all. The time commit to contribute to a Null Alliance is huge. :-)

I'm confused. Are you rage quitting over your drones being shot, or being asked to attend a CTA every other week?

Name a developer that doesn't do that.

Honestly, in all my years of gaming, I've yet to see one that actually makes good use of player feedback in a timely manner. CCP is close, but they're slow, and timing matters.

Agree with you there. It is a case of "break it today, fix it later". Before the AI change, they should have overhauled drones and their UI and AI. And only THEN released the new NPC AI. Then, the change wouldn't be nearly as unpleasant.

Not at all. I miss the CTA's and daily routine from my earlier EvE days, I had to give that up because of family life getting considerably more complicated. There honestly is no "rage", but since you insist on posting in memes I doubt you would get that.

It's not drones, its the aggravation factor. I have no interest in paying to be irritated. I can get that for free :-)

Make an AI that you actually have to think to engage and make the rewards commensurate with that difficulty. Hell you can remove bounties altogether for all I care. Just don't take the easy way out and settle for "Just annoying enough" on the AI and call it Mission Accomplished.

So sad to see all these mission runners leave a game they didn't even play

Can I borrow your stuff then? I'll give it right back when you return.

Honest.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

I think that would have made all the difference in the world in my perception of the change. If I had the tools to manage the changes without giving myself carpal tunnel, it would have been easier to digest.

There was nothing so critical about this that they could not have taken the time to do it the right way. I think they do an amazing job most of the time, but they really suck at listening to folks telling them it is broken before they pull the trigger.

Soon it will be 3 months on, 6 months off.

tried them and they were awesome. Once again though it requires having the time to dedicate to a community just like Null does. I don't have that amount of time to put into the game these days. It's like most things, to get the really cool stuff out of EvE you have to put the time in. This is as it should be.

I had pulled back into HiSec to keep my account training and running missions just to keep myself occupied, in hopes that I could free up the time one day to get back to playing the game I enjoyed ( Mostly high end exploration). As long as there was something to do in game that didnt annoy the crap out of me every time I logged in, I was ok playing a neutered version of EvE to pass the time.

Playing a neutered version of the game and being intentionally annoyed? Not really good for that.

I remember when I became upset with my drones and how poorly they performed in missions. I didn't quit though, I just trained rail guns, got a Kronos, and never looked back. It was the 2nd best decision I ever made when it came to running missions (the first being to stop running them).

Five accounts to run missions is relaxing? Oh! Get mission, warp to encounter, get agro, drop drones, slowboat to acceleration gate and AFK x5. I guess that would be relaxing.

See? I even appreciate the microgenitalized douchebags that make up a small part of this community, they are always good for a laugh.

(not to mention that you need 5 accounts to "relax" in eve's pve activities. I probably wouldn't play games at all in your case or at least not multiplaye games in singleplayer mode.)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Nah, one was dedicated Logi and three are miners for when I got the urge to stare at rocks all day. I fly a Kronos and Vargur as well as a Tengu/Loki/Legion/Proteus depending on the missions. Adapting is not a problem.
